Memorial Day

There were 40 playing members attended the annual memorial day where at the start Chairman Paul Dunkley read out the names of those members past and present who had passed away over the year. A minutes silence was then held.

Ten Rink teams were formed and after each game of six ends all teams were changed. A total of eighteen ends were bowled during the afternoon and the winning individual was Andy Watts (+16) closely followed by Tony Gensler. Trophies were then handed out to the winners and runners up of the seasons outdoor competitions. Finally all enjoyed a superb tea provided by the excellent catering team.
