History

The Club was formed just after the Second World War when a bowling green was laid at its present site. From that beginning and with foresight and enthusiasm the founder members saw the Club flourish. A new clubhouse was built and this was followed by the first indoor rink. During the seventies another building was erected allowing a second indoor rink to be created.
During the winter season there are indoor competitions involving teams from neighbouring clubs as well as teams representing Littleton. Leagues exist in the morning, afternoon, evening as well as the weekend. In addition to this there are club evenings where friendly games are played.
During the outdoor season which commences in April the Club enter men and ladies teams in The Concorde League covering the Wychavon area along with mixed teams in local competitions. These fixtures together with weekend friendly games and a full programme of mid-week afternoon friendlies keep the Club busy during the summer. Littleton men won the Concorde League in 2010 and finished runners up in 2012 along with runners up in the County Vernon Turner Trophy. In 2012 Littleton won the Vale Mixed Triples League and then again in 2013 to 2018 and also 2022.
