Singles Finals

A further two Club Competition Finals for 2024 took place on Sunday 25th August. In the Mens Singles Final John Martin beat Pete Davey 21-8. In a game that was very close early on with the score 8-7 John started to pull away and eventually completed the win. The Ladies Final was between Sue Leonard and Linda Ogg in what turned out to be a very competitive game which ran over 29 ends. The match was always a close encounter with Sue leading 18-15 but Linda came back on the next five ends to win 21-18.
