The Club recently returned from a very successful tour of Bournemouth. Altogether forty-three members took part in four matches over the week. The first game took place at Kings Park Bowls, Bournemouth over six rinks and Littleton managed a close victory by three shots. Tuesday saw the Club put out eight rinks against New Milton B.C. and in another close game lost by five shots. Wednesdays game against Argyll B.C. was cancelled due to torrential rain resulting in an afternoon of ten pin bowling and the casino next door!! Thursdays fixture was against Bournemouth B.C. and once again was played over eight rinks resulting in victory for Littleton B.C.
Thanks go to Tony Gensler for organising a very enjoyable and entertaining tour once again. All members are now looking forward to next years tour to the Isle of Wight.
