The Seniors Tournament took place on Thursday 9th August with 26 players taking part. The winner this year was Kay Deacon.
There was another good turnout for the Annual Federation Day Event on Saturday 4th August. The winning pair were Linda Ogg and Dave Smith with a score of plus 14 and collected the Joe Newnham Trophy. Runners up were Andrew Auger and Paul Dunkley.
Saturday sees the Annual Federation Day played for the Joe Newnham Trophy. Players are requested to register in the club house on arrival and no later than 1.45pm. The afternoon bowling will commence at 2.00pm. Afterwards there will be a barbeque with burgers and sausages on sale.
This years Federation Day will take place on Saturday 4th August at 2.00pm for the Joe Newnham Trophy. Would members please put their name down on the nomination sheet on the outdoor noticeboard. This is an entertaining and fun afternoon of bowls with food and drink also available.
With a full compliment of 20 teams this popular Tournament commences on Sunday 1st July at 9.00a.m.
