On Saturday October 29th there is going to be a Halloween quiz based on Pointless. It promises to be a fun evening with fancy dress and broomsticks optional. Please enter your name on the list in the Clubhouse if you wish to attend.
The Bowling Club raised over £350 at it’s coffee morning in aid of Macmillan on Saturday 8th October 22. A big thank you to the ladies for their hard work during the morning and those that made crafts and cakes. Also thank you to everyone who attended.
After a break of two years due to covid the Club embarked this year on a tour to North Devon. Departing on Saturday 17th September the players and supporters stayed at the Barnstaple Hotel for five nights. Three Club finals were played on Saturday 27th August 2022. In the doubles Steve Bourne and Pete Davey overcame strong opposition in Paul Dunkley and Doug Payne. It was only in the last few ends that they pulled away to run out winners 22-13. In the Club Maidens final Doug Payne beat Bob Davies 21-12. …
This Sunday 3rd July see’s the Club Annual Gala taking place after an absence of 2 years due to covid. Sixteen teams are taking part in the tournament which is going on all day. Come along and enjoy the games.

The outdoor green is due to open on Wednesday 20th April at 6.00p.m. Dress code is greys for this occasion. Afterwards in the Clubhouse there will be the presentation for the indoor leagues. Nomination sheets will be displayed on the board for games on Saturday 23rd Captains Day and Sunday 24th home to Chipping Campden.
